Early in the morning, drive to Jorhat (207Kms/5 hrs)
Upon arrival, you will be accommodated in a historic ancestral house of a Tea Planter(subject to availability) amidst an Assamese village, 15 kms from Jorhat.
In the late afternoon, take a walk in a nearby village to see the simplicity of the local village lives here.

After an early breakfast, drive to Sibasagar to visit remains of Ahom Kingdom who ruled in Assam for about 600 years before giving in to British. You will visit the Tai Ahom Museum and the Maidams (Mummy like structures) of Ahom kings Burial grounds at Charaideo.
Return to Jorhat for your overnight stay
Overnight in Jorhat

After breakfast, visit the Toklai Research Station to see and know about the tea-plantation.
After lunch, leave for Kaziranga (90 Kms), the home of the one horned rhinos.
Upon your arrival, check-in at one of the tourist lodge

Early morning (5:30 am): Explore central Range of Kaziranga National Park on the back of an Elephant On return explore the eastern range on a jeep safari.
Return for lunch and later proceed to the Western Range of Kaziranga National Park on jeep .

After an early breakfast, drive to Guwahati (220 kms/ 5 hrs).
Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel]
Late afternoon, visit the famous Kamakhya Temple and Shankardev Kala Niketan
