Day-01-Arrival in Delhi
The first day of a holiday is always exciting. It gives a rare thrill down the spine to look forward to spending a few days in an unknown place with unknown people. You will be welcomed graciously by one of our staffs at the airport and taken to the hotel room booked for you. The first day sightseeing of Golden Triangle Voyage with Mandawa Havelis depends on the fact whether you arrive in the morning or evening. A light skate over the Old Delhi Fort, Jama Masjid etc will be arranged after your rest. After a special dinner including all Indian specialties, you can call it a day.
Now that your senses have started to adapt to the new surroundings, you will be more than ready to take up a full day tour around the city. You may choose a guide to accompany you. The Old Delhi and New Delhi retains the real essence through architectural wonders of ancient times (namely Mughals) and modern times (British Rule). This bustling cosmopolitan with huge boulevards, desi markets as well as temples gives you wide scope of ambiguity.
The Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament House, Old Fort, India Gate, Raj Ghat Gandhi Memorial, Bahai Temple, Akshardham etc are ultimate sources of delightful insights not to mention other activities such as golfing, clubbing and others. The whole day is eaten up by seconds and in no time it is time to dine and turn in.
Day-03-Delhi-Mandawa (265 Kms-05 Hrs)
The third day of golden triangle voyage with Mandava Havelis takes you out of Delhi to Mandawa which is situated in Rajasthan. The drive to the village is most illuminating with actual visual of Indian rural life. You can have lunch on your way. On your arrival, you will be taken to a Haveli hotel where your accommodation is arranged. Once a commercial settlement for merchants from other eastern countries, it has numerous castle-like buildings and forts. The array of paintings there are indeed mind-boggling. The havelis are decked up with beautiful frescoes. After exploring the havelis and places nearby, the day can be ended with a traditional Rajasthani dinner.
Day-04-Mandawa-Jaipur (151 Kms-03 Hrs)
The fourth day of Golden triangle with Mandawa Havelis takes you to the capital of desert state. You can check in the hotel there and take a good rest to wash off the weariness. The rest of the time is all yours. You can shop till you drop there availing articles quite cheaply. Enjoy the spicy Rajasthani dishes before getting back to your hotel room.
Yes, today is the great day of Jaipur exploration in the Golden triangle with Mandawa Havelis. Get ready to experience the elephant ride along Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Jal Mahal, Jantur Mantur etc. These amazing bits of past with pastoral background are pure bliss. The perfection of traditional Indian architecture never ceases to take you by surprise.
The day has its final Act in an ethnic restaurant with a theme dinner which is not only about tasty food but also of Rajasthani culture in capsule form. You can head back to your room post dinner.
Day-06-Jaipur-Agra (250 Kms-05 Hrs)
The final destination of the golden triangle with Mandawa Havelis is Agra. You can set off towards this home of Taj after breakfast. The Fatehpur Sikri grabs your attention on the way which has intrinsic beauty from top to bottom. It is expected to reach Agra by lunch and you will be more and more wrapped up in the glorious yesteryears of Mughal rules. The actuality is so overpowering that you find that all you have read or heard about the Taj, Agra Fort and others do not do justice to the city at all which is saying something for these monuments have a way of bringing out hidden poets in people.
You have to be a bit careful of touts, but our guide will take care of that for you. After exploring the city, we will treat you to an exquisite Mughlai dinner and taken to your hotel room.
Day-07-Agra-Delhi (205 Kms-04 Hrs)
