0515 Hrs: Pick up from Hotel
Early in the morning, you will be transferred to the New Delhi railway station by our representative to board the superfast Shatabdi Train which is generally scheduled to depart at 06:15hrs.
The travel of 02 hours to Agra will be finse inside the air-conditioned compartment with breakfast served onboard.
Or you have the option to drive to Agra. The distance of 204kms would normally take around 04 hrs.
0810 Hrs: Arrive in Agra
Upon arrival in Agra, you will be met by our representative. Proceed to explore Agra to your heart’s content. Described as city of love this city holds about various attractions. Get ready for a cultural treat.
0900 Hrs: Visit to the world famous Taj Mahal
Well, of course Taj Mahal has the number one priority. This legend enshrined in marble carvings fully deserves your undivided attention. One of the Seven Wonders of the World, It was built by grandson of Akbar -The Great, Shah Jahan (1628-1658) in the loving memory of his third wife Mumtaz Mahal.
1100 Hrs: Visit to the majestic Agra Fort or Red Fort
Agra Fort has the sobriquet of Red Fort and it is not to be confused with the one in Delhi. This fort is a live chronicle of the glorious periods of The Mughal rule in India.
1200 Hrs: Shopping and Leisure
The array of marble inlay works, handicrafts, leather products and other ethnic stuffs at surprisingly cheap prices are enough to make anyone a list of shopaholic’s confessions. It is just a way to relax and let the mighty impression left on you by the forts and monuments settle down a bit. Explore the marble inlay making crafts people working to create master pieces.
1300 Hrs: Free time to have your lunch and refreshments
1430 Hrs: Excursion to the Fatehpur Sikri
Fatehpur Sikri, a much visited place near Agra (40kms) houses the numerous shrines constructed during the Mughal reign. It is a UNESCO world heritage site which was built by the Great Mughal Emperor Akbar as his capital and palace in the late 16th century. Take your own time to explore this deserted red sandstone city.
1730 Hrs: Return Agra
Drive back to Agra to board your train to Delhi. Also, you have the option to drive back to Delhi which will take approx time 04 hrs.
2020 Hrs: Board your return train to Delhi
On your arrival in Agra, you will be received by our representative who will transfer you to railway station to board the Shatabdi Express Train to New Delhi.
22:50 Hrs: Arrival in Delhi
Upon your arrival in New Delhi Railway Station, you will be met by our representative who will escort you to your pre booked hotel.
